My son is in that group. He is having a great time.. said he really enjoyed hearing you last night. Thanks for impacting my son! He jsut had his 5th surgery since July, and he could use some encouraging, so know that you are appreciated and prayed over as you lead.

My 13 year old son too! He’s really been asking some tough questions lately. Thanks for taking the time away from your family, coming to the cold midwest, and sharing the Gospel with our kids. There’s 40 from our church there!

brain — dude, you have to give me PROPS for that whole MI/OH thing! all i said was that i grew up in detroit, and asked if there were any groups here from michigan. and the apparently poor winners, ohio, started booing! what the heck? so, i — graciously — acknowledged that OSU beat us (MI), and that i was even rooting for OSU in the championship. so, dude, how can you fault me for THAT? :)

4000 jr hi kids! OY! I have one right now and that’s enough!! I think it’s the toughest age and I really admire people like you who can handle AND teach them!!! Awesome!

My son just returned from the Believe experience with some great stories of the weekend. He especially liked your description of the apostle Peter being the ‘act first, think much later’ kind of guy. I believe my son could relate to that way of getting thru life!

thanks for asking, brian — the 3rd, 4th and 5th talks went pretty well, i think. the kids were very responsive — great group. time to head home to SD (early sunday morning)!

Our son had a great time in Cincy.(actually, all of those who went did from what i have heard) He has told me a lot about your talks, and that is saying a lot. He is a boy of few words (but beware when he does talk… he has something to say!). I appreciate your servanthood for my kid and all the others this weekend. As a wife of a youth minister, I know a little of what you and your family sacrifice to make this happen, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
