one of my favorite paragraphs from , by eddie gibbs and ryan k. bolger:
it was easier to define the spiritual when the sacred/secular split was intact and the kingdom was not a central pursuit. then the spiritual was all the things one did at church or in one’s heart or in holy places. it is harder to define the spiritual now that communities are overcoming the sacred/secular split and are pointing to the kingdom in all spheres of reality.
