me: “i like that shirt on you.”

liesl: “do you like it because you’re my dad and it gives me no shape?”

As the dad of an 11 year old girl my answer would be, “Doesn’t matter, I’m the Dad and I’m right” Not sure how long that’ll work but until it doesn’t, I’m sticking with it.

One of the reasons I have boys instead of girls. :) Not that boys are any easier, just different.

I agree with Brittany’s response, and as for Steve’s…no young man has had the courage to say things like that about my daughter in front of me.
